For young players who are new to volleyball in the Philadelphia, PA area, TNT is the place to be! We have various programs to help your young, aspiring volleyball player to get started.

Private lessons are available year-round, while other activities depend on the time of season.

Below are some of the offerings TNT has, aside from the club team program, for those who are new to the sport.

The TNT In-House Volleyball Program is designed for boys and girls ages 10-15 who want to learn and develop their volleyball skills in a positive, structured, and fun environment.

Led by experienced coaches, and running during the fall, winter, and spring seasons, at The Armory in Horsham, PA, players in this program receive instruction focused on the fundamental techniques of the game: passing, serving, setting, hitting, movement, and overall volleyball IQ.

Training groups are organized based on age, skill level, and experience to ensure that each athlete receives appropriate instruction and development.

Sessions emphasize skill progression, teamwork, confidence-building, and a love for the game while providing a pathway for continued growth within the sport.

Though not exclusively for beginners, the TNT In-House Volleyball Program is an excellent opportunity for players not on club teams to learn from knowledgeable coaches, develop and improve their volleyball skills, make new friends, and enjoy the game of volleyball in a supportive environment.

TNT's official program for beginners, Little Dynamos is designed for both boys and girls ages 6-12 to help those new to the sport to build confidence, coordination, and foundational volleyball skills in a fun, positive, and high‑energy environment.

Held at our climate-controlled facility, the TNT Armory in Horsham, PA, typically during the months of July and August, this afternoon program focuses on teaching newcomers the fundamental skills of volleyball through age‑appropriate drills, games, and activities.

TNT's Summer in the Armory co-ed program for players ages 7-17 runs mornings from late June until the end of summer for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.

Held also at our climate-controlled facility, the TNT Armory in Horsham, PA, Summer in the Armory player groups are broken out by age and skill level, with instruction tailored to the needs of each individual group.

During this program, experienced coaches will teach fundamentals, with plenty of time for game play to practice what has been learned.

An additional way for beginners to get started in volleyball is via Private Lessons.

TNT has an amazing staff of coaches with years of experience.  Some of our coaches provide hourly lessons, either one on one for individualized instruction or for small groups of friends, etc. too.
