Why Play Club?
We offer something for all levels of play and interests. Players may be coming to get better for upcoming high school seasons, some are looking to play for a varsity or club team in college, and others may just enjoy playing and learning the game. TNT offers options to accommodate most players. If players are seeking the next challenge, TNT can help tremendously.
Our Teams
We have regional teams for those looking to grow in the sport with base level cost, competition, package, and time commitment. These teams compete in about 4 local tournaments within a 2 hour commute from the Bunker's location. They usually meet 1 time per week in preparation. Financially, this is a base cost program and is a great fit for players new to the game of volleyball.
Also, TNT offers travel teams who are looking for more competition and exposure within the region. This is a middle level cost, competition, package, and time commitment. These teams compete in multi-day tournaments within the tri state area as well as local events within a 2 hour commute from the gym, meeting twice a week in preparation. Financially this is middle tier cost program that requires more travel as well as hotel stays compared to our regional program.
Finally, our national teams compete in multi-day events in the tri-state area as well as out-of-state tournaments against the best competition, inlcuding that at the National Championships. These teams meet 2 times a week at minimum in advance of their events. Financially, this level of play requires the most significant commitment due to the amount of events, travel, and required hotel stays.
Highlights of Our Program
Academy Practices
In addition to the standard club team practices, We host academy practices throughout the season to promote the learning of fundamentals and to maintain consistency among the club’s teams. Players from similar age groups are given extra practice time, geared towards skills relevant to their position. Coaches will work on skills which will provide the groundwork for them to master their craft at a quicker pace as they progress from team to team.
Using this methodology enables our players at each level to improve faster and learn from coaches skilled in their position.
Consider it a private lesson without having to pay for a private lesson!
Floating Coaches
In addition to the assigned coaching staff for each team, many of our age groups will also benefit from "floating coaches". These coaches are highly skilled coaches that will work with many more players than they can affect on a single team. They will provide an extra voice and focus on training specific skills while team coaches can continue to coach team concepts.
Extra Enrichment Opportunities
In addition to our academy style practices and floating coaches, TNT is committed to continue to try and find innovative ways to support our players. Our recent college showcase, positional clinics, and camps run by college coaches for players interest in playing at the next level are just some of the ways TNT continues to try and elevate our players to reach their full potential.
