Why Play Club?

We offer something for all levels of play and interests. Players may be coming to get better for upcoming high school seasons, some are looking to play for a varsity or club team in college, and others may just enjoy playing and learning the game. TNT offers options to accommodate most players. If players are seeking the next challenge, TNT can help tremendously.

our teams

National Teams

Our National Teams are designed for athletes seeking the highest level of competition and exposure.

  • Compete in multiple multi-day tournaments, often outside the region
  • Travel is required because local competition isn’t as strong, so we seek out tougher opponents to help athletes grow
  • Season is built to prepare for AAU Volleyball Nationals (June 30 – July 7 in Orlando, FL)
  • Nationals features an intense 4-day competition schedule, helping players adapt to high-level, back-to-back matches
  • Provides maximum college exposure and recruiting opportunities
  • Proven impact: this level of competition has raised the standard of high school volleyball in our area

👉 Best for athletes who are highly committed and want to compete at the highest level

Travel Teams

Our Travel Teams offer a strong competitive experience with a balanced schedule.

  • Compete in a mix of single-day and occasional multi-day tournaments
  • Some travel outside the region, but less frequent than National teams
  • Focus on development + competition
  • Great for athletes looking to improve and compete seriously without the full national schedule
  • Still provides exposure opportunities, just at a slightly lower volume

👉 Best for athletes who want competitive volleyball with a manageable travel commitment

Regional Teams

Our Regional Teams focus on development and local competition.

  • Compete primarily in local, single-day tournaments
  • Minimal travel required
  • Emphasis on skill development, game experience, and confidence building
  • Ideal for athletes newer to club volleyball or balancing multiple commitments

👉 Best for athletes building their skills and looking for a more local, lower-commitment experience

The TNT Advantage

What truly sets TNT apart is the structure and culture of our program.

  • With multiple teams at each age group, we can often accommodate schedule conflicts by allowing players to make up practices or get extra reps with another team
  • If there’s a gap on a roster—especially at higher levels—we believe in a “family first” approach, filling spots with TNT players before looking outside the club
  • This creates more opportunities for players to be seen, challenged, and grow
  • We consistently see athletes progress from Regional → Travel → National teams
  • Our coaching staff brings experience, consistency, and a focus on development at every level
  • We believe boys develop quickly in volleyball, and our structure is built to support that rapid growth

👉 The result: players improve faster, stay engaged, and have a clear pathway to higher levels within the program

Highlights of Our Program

October Academy Practices

We host academy practices at the beginning of the season to promote the learning of fundamentals and to maintain consistency among the club’s teams. All players from each age group will participate and gain the skills which will provide the groundwork for them to master their craft at a quicker pace as they progress from team to team.

Using this methodology enables our players at each level to move forward each season with a set of homogeneous skills, and that makes it easier for their coaches to plan their practices.

Scrimmage Nights

Something our players experience that is different from other clubs are our scrimmage nights. These allow for teams to work on in-game aspects competing with other teams within our club in preparation for tournaments. This is something the players love and rave about in our
end -of - season surveys. Teams compete in game play for 1 hour and compete against other teams for 1 hour.

Extra Enrichment Opportunities

In the past, we've had pros and college coaches come out for clinics as well as recruiting seminars to expand on everything you need to know for athletes looking to play in college and recruiting interviews and highlight film tips.

We've had a D1 NCAA Champion come in to discuss mental toughness and how to compete at an elite level. We've had seminars led by college coaches and also by players and families that have been through the process, to help players wishing to play at the college level navigate the system.  We also host extra opportunity play events like matrix, twilight, and grass tournaments for players to develop.

Almost all of our coaches are high school area head and assistant coaches or previous players returning from playing collegiately. They know what it takes to prepare for the high school season and additionally prepare for college.

How it works

June & July — Open Gyms
We kick off the boys club season with free open gyms throughout June and July. These sessions give players a chance to meet our coaches, connect with other athletes, get familiar with our gyms, and experience the overall vibe of TNT Volleyball before tryouts.

Late July — Tryouts & Team Selection
Tryouts are held in late July. Offers are typically made within a few days, and players have 48 hours to accept.

Early August — Club Meeting & Gear Fitting

About a week after tryouts, we host a club meeting to share detailed information about the upcoming season, answer questions, and allow players to try on jersey samples for uniform ordering.

October — Practices Begin
Practices start in October with:

  • Two weekday practices focused on team systems and development.

  • One “Academy” session each week dedicated to individual skill work. Academy gives athletes a chance to focus on their position-specific technique, get extra reps, and build relationships across different TNT teams.

December–February — Tournament Season
Teams compete in tournaments from December through February, providing valuable competitive experience and helping athletes enter their high school season in March with confidence, control, and refined skills.

May–June — National Team Prep
After the high school season wraps up (late May or early June), National teams resume training to prepare for the AAU Volleyball Boys Junior National Championships.

No Refunds once your player commits

CLUB VOLLEYBALL ATHLETES/PARENTS: TNT Volleyball does not offer any refunds for club volleyball athletes since the loss of an athlete cannot be easily replaced once all club athletes have committed to training. Once they accept they are also taking a spot from another athlete who wanted to be on that team.
