Friday, 7-24

(5:00pm)

All written offers (following prior verbal acceptances) have been sent for all age groups (15, 16, and 17U) as the process comes to a close.
As posted earlier this week, for those who did not receive a club team offer, stay tuned as we move forward for programming that the club is working on to help accommodate those still looking for an option to play.
This will be the final update for the tryout blog. Thanks to all who tried out this summer, and we hope this was helpful in keeping everyone informed throughout what we know is a challenging time.

Thursday, 7-23

(7:00PM)

17U – all verbal offers have been accepted
15U and 16U – written offers have started to go out and that process will be continuing until all are sent
Please allow some time for all written offers to go out given the amount of teams at 15U and 16U; thanks for your patience.

The process is nearning completion at 17U with only a few verbal offers waiting to be accpeted. Written offers have now gone out for those who had accepted verbal offers prior.
16U – written offers have started to go out and that process will be continuing until all are sent; no further movement is anticipated
15U – written offers have started to go out and that process will be continuing until all are sent; no further movement is anticipated
Any further movement at any age group would result from a written offer being declined.

Wednesday, 7-22

17U – additional progress has been made but the process is still ongoing for 17-3.
16U – verbal offers have now been extended for all teams. The club is waiting on responses to the additional offers made since yesterday; any further movement at this age group will depend on declines received by the club.
15U – as stated yesterday, all available offers were verbally accepted.

Tuesday, 7-21

(3:30PM)

17U – Sorry for the last-minute notice, but there is an Open Gym now scheduled for TONIGHT 8-10 at the Armory with Coach Maranda and her staff for any players who want a last look for one of the remaining spots at 17-3. If you can’t attend but are still interested in a spot, email questions@tntvb.com to let us know.
15U – the process has now concluded as all available offers have been verbally accepted.
16U – no change in status since earlier this afternoon; the process continues with more offers to be made.

16U Update – the vast majority of offers for teams 1-4 are accepted, and work on additional teams continues.
15U Update – we are nearing completion at this age group, but additional movement is still possible.

Monday, 7-20

(10:30PM)

All tryout-related events at TNT are now complete with the finish of 16U callbacks tonight. Again, thanks to all who participated during this tryout season.
16U – some calls began to resume this evening after callbacks ended, but given the late hour, the process has paused for the night and will resume tomorrow.
There are no addtional updates at this hour for 15U and 17U.

(6:00PM)

16U – callbacks are just underway. Reminder to all still interested to please attend to the callbacks (session 2 starts at 7:30) or let us know (questions@tntvb.com) of your continued interest before the process of filling teams resumes later tonight.
15U – the club is closer, but not yet finished, filling teams at this age group. Additional offers to go out will be in response to declines received by the club for offers already made.
17U – teams 1 and 2 are complete. Similar to 15U, additional offers to go out for team 3 will be in response to declines received by the club for offers already made.

17U – no change from prior update; offers have been extended for these 3 teams, with some movement still possible.
16U – additional offers have gone out since yesterday’s tryouts. Anyone without an offer before tonight’s callbacks should plan to attend (6:00-7:30pm Last Name A-M … 7:30-9:00pm Last Name N-Z) if still interested in a spot.
15U – additional offers have been made since last night’s callbacks for all teams; movement is still possible at this age group as the process continues.

Sunday, 7-19

(9:00PM)

15U – callbacks have concluded; offers for teams 1-5 have been made, with some movement expected in those areas. Additional calls for remaining teams will continue tomorrow as well.
16U – tryouts have concluded; anyone who still does not have an offer prior to tomorrow’s callbacks (6:00-7:30pm Last Name A-M … 7:30-9:00pm Last Name N-Z) but still interested should plan to attend.
17U – offers have been extended for these 3 teams, with some movement possible depending upon acceptances not yet received for those offers.
18U – the process has concluded.

16U tryouts have concluded, and the process of filling teams at that level moves forward.
Anyone without an offer at 16U prior to callbacks should plan to attend those scheduled for tomorrow (6:00-7:30pm Last Name A-M … 7:30-9:00pm Last Name N-Z).
15U callbacks are about to start; the offer process for 15U will resume later this evening and continue in the days ahead.
17U still has movement at this time.

As 16U tryouts are wrapping up, some initial offers are starting to go out for our top (3) teams.
Movement continues at both 15 and 17U as well. Reminder – there are no callbacks for 17U, as first announced last night.

(9:00AM)

16U tryouts have started, with session 1 players currently on the court.
15U process resumes today and is still very fluid. Any 15U players who do not receive an offer before tonight’s callbacks (5:00-6:30pm Last Name A-M … 6:30-8:00pm Last Name N-Z) but are still interested should plan to attend those callbacks.
18U is completely filled, and while there is still movement at 17U, there will not be a callback necessary to complete the process at 17U as announced last night. Thanks to all who tried out for both of these age groups.

Saturday, 7-18

17U/18U Callbacks for Sunday night have been cancelled. We are working through the teams at 17U, but have all of the information needed to finish building the 17 Diamond roster. All spots have not been filled.

15 Viper – Calls have begun. Expecting to have all 12 initial calls completed tonight. We will not be making any more teams tonight. Calls will continue as needed tonight but no new teams will be formed tonight. See you at callbacks.

Some initial offers are beginning to go out for our top (2) 15U teams, and the offer process is ongoing for the age groups who tried out last night as well.

After late-night, post-tryout delberations last night, some offers began to go out at that time, with the process resuming for both 17 and 18U teams today.
Session #1 for 15U is currently underway here at the Armory, following the schedule posted below (the same schedule will be in place tomorrow for 16U as well — see below)

Friday, 7-17

(7:00PM)

Tryouts have started! 17 / 18U DSL’s are on the court, to be joined from 8-10 PM by the remainder of the 17/18U players trying out.
Below is the schedule for the remainder of the weekend:
Saturday, 7/18 (15U) —- Session 1: 8:00 – 10:00 AM …. DSL’s Only 10:00 – 11:00AM … Session 2: 11:00AM – 1:00 PM … Session 3: 2:00 – 3:30PM
Sunday, 7/19 (16U) — Session 1: 8:00 – 10:00 AM …. DSL’s Only 10:00 – 11:00AM … Session 2: 11:00AM – 1:00 PM … Session 3: 2:00 – 3:30PM
Parent Meetings will be held on Saturday and Sunday to discuss the process and next steps outside the front door of the Armory at the following times: 9:45am – 10am … 12:45pm – 1pm … 3:15pm – 3:30pm
Any player who signed up after Noon on Thursday, 7/16 and does not receive an assigned session should report to the last session for your age group.

Tryouts kickoff this evening at 7PM when all 17/18U DSL’s report to the Armory. They will be joined by all other 17/18U players for the 8-10PM session.
Tryouts continue tomorow for 15U, and Sunday for 16U. Session times have been emailed to all registrants.
