Coaching Philosophy:

My philosophy of coaching has always been to develop the whole person, not just the athlete.
I also believe that the mental game is equally as important as the physical game!
Beyond teaching the technical aspects of volleyball, I help players learn to have confidence in their abilities, how to communicate, work together as a team, and to care for themselves mentally & physically as female athletes!

Coaching Certifications:

I am IMPACT, Safe Sport & CPR certified.
Over the years, I have attended numerous coaching clinics.
I love to learn and am committed to continuing to grow & improve for as many years as I am privileged to be a coach.

Playing Experience:

I started playing volleyball in 7th grade and have been playing for over 30 years. - varsity starter as a freshman (primary in 2 man serve receive, before liberos existed! 😂)
Varsity (5-1) setter in 11th & 12th
1996 (Sr season) Team Captain, league champions (1st time in school history), league MVP
I still LOVE to play & compete in multiple women's & co-ed leagues year round and in as many doubles tournaments as possible over the summer!

Best Coaching Memory:

It's hard to pick just one, but it would probably have to be when my 15's team (that my daughter Mia was on) won 2nd at NEQ

When I'm Not Coaching, I'm ... Besides playing volleyball & spending time with my kids, I love to travel- especially wherever there's a beach, reading, crafting, game nights with my very large family & relaxing with my dog, Libero (aka Bear)❤️
