Coaching Philosophy

The game teaches the game - playing off live situations and becoming well rounded develops the best teams.
Encourage players to play their hardest and emphasis on growth. Taking chances and making mistakes helps us grow and learn.
Challenging and Intentional Practices allow athletes to enter in to flow states and enjoy the game thru preparation.

Playing Experience

Been playing school, club, and adult sixes, quads, doubles indoor and outdoor since 5th grade. AVP Grand Prix winner for 2019 season in Coed A & Women's A finishing top 15 in the nation for grass volleyball and Women's AA for 2020.

Best Coaching Memory

In 2018, there was a bad flu going around and our team was competing in open at a USAV Bid Qualifier in Jacksonville, FL. The day before the event, our middle had gotten injured and then the remaining 10 had dwindled down due to the flu going around. Over that time, the boys jumped into different positions, remained highly coachable, and by the last day with only 6 they learned rotation on the fly to get them by. They lost winning a bid by one win but the way they didn't give up and still battled to 22-25 with the odds stacked against them was inspiring. It didn't hurt either that after the event the coaches and players stayed to watch the Eagles win the Super Bowl.

Fun Fact - I dabble in a sport called fistball. Passing with 1 arm is celebrated and the only legal contact.

When Not Coaching I'm ... Playing volleyball - in outdoor beach, grass, or indoor day or twilight tournaments or playing fistball. Enjoying cuddling with my dog Mabel and cat Max watching movies.
